Hi! My name is Kalen Akash, I use they/them and he/him pronouns, and I am a jack of all trades with experience in design, publication/print, curation, illustration, and bookmaking.

Design is the medium and language through which we communicate our values in the modern-day world, informed by our tastes and our senses. It is equal parts what we say and how we design, which is why I focus on work that uplifts community values education, and creativity, physical materials, and craft. My work uses psychedelic, surreal aesthetics as well as handmade and cultural elements to deviate from the trends of corporate style and the white-dominated systems that rule it. It honors me and my identity as a BIPOC queer and trans individual.
